I read this book first when I was about 8 years old (now I\'m 18). It was my father\'s copy. Since then, I\'ve always read it over and over again shedding tears afresh, as if I\'ve never read it before. The story so touches me; Mary\'s peity and modesty, her truthfulness even before a great temptation, Jacob\'s love for his daughter and his upbringing of her, the pure and forgiving heart of father and daughter, and above all, the lessons the wise man drew from every flower in the garden. Even as I type this, tears are dropping from my eyes and I am smiling as well. It is a book for both the young and old. I had taken to lending the book to friends and encouraging people to read the it though I lost it after lending to a friend. I\'ve not read it for over a year now but the memory of it is still very fresh.I\'m still looking for a copy and hope to find one. It is book one must own.
