r sandwiches on white bread she said, "So, tell me Paul, why are you getting fired tomorrow?"
"I'm not really entirely sure," he said, although this was a stalling tactic. He knew pretty well why he was getting fired; he just didn't quite know how to put it into words. It'd only been a couple of hours since his high school friend and CEO had told him what was happening. "I mean, they gave me reasons, but they're not really reasons. They're not things I did wrong."
"What does that mean? They didn't like your looks?"
"Yeah, basically," said Paul. "More to the point, they didn't like the look of how I was doing things. What I mean is, I'm not a tech guy right? I'm an artist and a writer. I'm used to working at home and scribbling away and meeting my deadlines. So when I helped start this company, I figured it would be mostly the same. I figured I'd sit in my office and do my work and hit my deadlines and go to my meetings and all that."

Great book from beginning to end. I had trouble putting it down, and when I did, all I could think of what the next twist was. Good character development. I hardly ever was confused by anything that was going on, which allowed me to enjoy the story more. I immediately started reading the second book, and I can only hope that it is half as good as this one was. I highly recommend Geek Mafia.

Interesting concept. However writing is somewhat loose, descriptions and dialogues could have been madea lot more terse. Character development was quite satisfactory. I would guess this book will make agood read for the 15-20-year-old age group.

Absolutely awesome book, with a great plot and an inspiration to Geeks that don't know what to do with their lives.

Great book. I ended up spending most of Sunday reading it - couldn't really let it down.
The plot is fast paced, the characters are well made, and if you're a bit of a hacker yourself, you're definitely going to love it.
Highly recommended.

A very good read indeed.
A great plot, that for the first time in dozens of books, left me wandering to the final pages.
Worth the time to read.

An outstanding read. Top-notch character development, and it's always a pleasure watching the bad guys - who, in real life, and in fiction, are often the "better" guys - win. Big Pig rates this book 5 Oinks.

This is the first e-book I've read from manybooks.net. It was an excellent read. Fast-paced but thourough in development. You can't go wrong with this one! Highly recommended.

As soon as you think the story gets a bit heavy on leftist naiveté, it accelerates and takes you with it. I'm not sure if one can pull off the described stunts everywhere, and especially after 9/11 I have my doubts, but that doesn't change the full points for the book.
