About the Author

In the spring of 2022, Diane Winger and a friend walked over 250 miles along the coast of Cornwall, on one of Great Britain's magnificent national hiking trails, the South West Coast Path.

She is an outdoors enthusiast who loves hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, and camping. She is also a voracious reader with a lengthly TBR (to be read) list.

Diane is the author of 13 novels featuring strong and active women protagonists, and has also co-written 3 outdoor adventure guidebooks along with her husband, Charlie. Her latest novella, "The Long Path Home", was inspired by her experiences on the Coast Path. She and Charlie plan to walk another section of the path in 2023.
